SUMMER HAS ARRIVED!!

Since summer has started, in addition to reading, I have spent a lot of time enjoying our Texas rivers. They are a valuable resource as well as an enjoyable way to stay cool during the smoldering Texas summers. I've also visited SeaWorld and enjoyed learning about the sea life, and had a blast watching the shows (The Azul dolphin show is my favorite!),  and riding the rides. I have also found some new bike trails to try out this summer that I am very excited about. Summer is my favorite time of year, and there is so much to do in Texas! I hope all of you are enjoying these first few weeks of summer as much as I am!

"MY NAME IS MEMORY" by: Ann Brashares

I am a little over halfway through this novel, "My Name is Memory", and it is very well written. It's a love story about two people who's souls continue to exist in different bodies throughout history. Daniel remembers his past lives and his connection to Lucy, and searches for her in each live he lives. Although Lucy is drawn to Daniel, she doesn't understand why. Memories from a past life start to haunt her and she starts to understand the connection that they share, but there is someone from their past lives that remembers too that will do anything to stop them from being together. Stay tuned to find out the climatic ending to this thought invoking novel.
